Absolutely disappointed with this product. I
normally purchase this product from Sephora, but did not have time to go and thought I would order online. The Packaging was poor, the powder itself had been opened and by the time I opened the tub, the powder spilt everywhere. The most disappointing aspect was that the powder was not the actual Laura Mercer powder, total different texture and did not feel as it was the original. Will be sending product back for a refund.

This was NOT Laura Mercier Loose setting powder. I have been using this product for almost 2 years now and typically buy it from a Sephora. I thought I would save $5 and a drive and order it online. This had the seal on it but the power is lighter and has a different feel to it. The container also feels like there is a coating of powder on it like corn starch. I brought it into my local Sephora and they agreed with me. They said it was most likely cut with something such as baking soda or corn starch. I would NOT recommend this item. I am not sure if the buyer purchased it this way or does this to get free make-up but it is NOT the actual product.

Jeez I should've known better. This is a total fake. Don't buy. Remember the bust here in California how they found products with bacteria and other bad things. Price sounds great but be careful.

Best setting powder ever!!! I will use this for life since I have oily skin. I put this on after my primer and before my tinted CC cream and it really helps hold the product all day. Even when I am outside most of the day which is very impressive considering other products would never hold up to that.

It is the perfect color for my skin, I mean I know its translucent.... but yeah its awesome, I put on my foundation and concealer and then submerge my face with this stuff and after my bronzer and blush it doesn't look too cakey. I always get asked what foundations/powders I use and Im glad to have this as a part of my everyday makeup. Also if you are thinking about buying the powder puff by Laura Mercier, don't, there is no point, you don't need it, just go buy a cheap one from Walmart or wherever, it will do the same thing! Just a tip. What I noticed works the best for me, is if I take my powder puff and put it under my eyes first to set that concealer then grab my beauty blender and blend that out, and I pretty much do that all over my face. Sometimes I only use my beauty blender and not even the powder puff. Anyways, hope this helped someone out <3

The box was not sealed in any way. I believe there should be something to wrap around a product that will be used on a person's face. I also noticed that tiny pieces of plastic were on the bottom of the box are if someone tried to poke holes in the cover. Not sure what that was about. Did not try the powder. Am returning it.

I normally use this powder, but I think I was schmoozed on this order. The powder box had been opened. The color of the powder didn't match the one I was finishing up. (It was slightly darker, like it had more pigment.) it didn't have the same finish as my last 2 Laura Mercier Transluscent Powders. It was kind of cakey and didn't perform well. I stopped using it, and went to a local shop to purchase something else. It could have been a change in the Laura Mercier recipe, but due to the package being tampered, I feel someone was pulling an ethics scam.

I'm very disappointed I was charged $40 for this stuff and it's FAKE it's not even real Laura merrier !!!!!

I felt like the powder may have been a little different but didn't try enough and then compared to my last powder and realised the font is different, the one on the left being real, the one of the right being the fake. Disappointed as the description says it's authentic.

Was worried about the comments about the product being fake but it is legit, and the powder is amazing, silky, smooth, weightless and high coverage. I stopped wearing my ysl foundation and just wear this now.
